It's too cold outside for angels to fly.

Snoooooow outside :) I had almost forgotten that joy of walking through snowfall. I'm still waiting for the day this winter when i wake up and outside my window everything is covered in white.

LONDON CALLING

London on Thursday- i really can't wait! I'm already planning everything out, since i'm only gonna be there four days and not gonna check luggage, so i reallly need to eat all the Mini Rolls and Nandos i can in that time period.

Last night we were on Reeperbahn, went to this Karaoke but then i was feeling pretty tired and it was really early, like 12, so there wasn't much going on. So i went to the station to go home, but then bumped into another friend and so i went with him and met up with some others in Hans-Albers Platz and had a good night. We were at this courtyard kind of thing between all the british and irish bars, where most of the people there were native English speakers haha. Then went home at 6am and slept until 3pm. :D

ONE YEAR AWAY FROM HOME

Today it has been one year exactly since i left home and flew 18,162 kilometers across the world by myself.
My parents sent me a package with lots of things in it like chocolates and other stuff i can't get hold of here. ♥

What i wore in LA. Just simple stuff since we were going up the mountain to visit the castle and visiting friends and chilling in the hotel. I only took my brown suede wedges with me. The heel is really comfortable.

LANDSHUT

So here are my photos from landshut this weekend, which i had a lot of time to sort through during the six hour train ride back home. The city was so pretty, with lots to take photos of and i always love being in Bayern. I spent a month there in 2009 and 2011 and so it always feels like a second home when i go back there.

Servus! I'm in Bavaria right now, in my hotel and just ordered Room Service feeling like a baus! We went up to the castle today, which is on the top of the a mountain and so from the balcony you can see over the whole incredibly picturesque city. And it was snowing a bit this morning and the snowflakes were little tiny stars, like none i have ever seen before.. so beautiful! Now i'm going to run myself a chocolate and vanilla bubble bath and relax.

Union Jack colours

Failed miserably trying to take a photo of my nail varnish since it's so dark now that i have to use the flash which just reflects from the nail varnish. It's silver and i love it since it's something so different to what i usually wear on my nails. My nails always have to be polished, at least with a topcoat if i cannot decide which colour to put on, because otherwise i find they feel really brittle.

Rushed photo of what i wore today when i went into language school. I missed three busses, it was appaling! One is supposed to come every ten minutes and then three suddenly came and i missed them all because i had to wait at the lights. Was so annoyed! Travelling on the underground is so much better!

FRISKY

Outfit post from today- quite simple because i didn't do so much. I finally joined the gym again on Monday and so today i went in for the second time. Felt so good afterwards and i have so much energy for the rest of the day. I have to get there again tomorrow evening because on Friday morning i'm going away for the weekend and don't want to break a good habit.

I'm moving back to London in the summer and it's all i'm thinking about lately, because i can't wait! :) I'm going for the weekend in two weeks time and i'm already trying to decide what clothes i should take with me, since i am not going to take so much, because i want to bring a lot back from Primark. ♥

United State of Pop 2011 Mashup (World Go Boom)

I've made a goal in 2012 to make an outfit post at least once every week, since i saw so many summaries of people's 2011 looks and i wish i had made more of my own because it is such a good way to see how your style changes throughout the year.

This week is a bit of a cheeky one, since they are just some random photos from the rain in Berlin after New Years, but i've been sick all week with tonsilitis and only been out of the house for the doctors. So i have basically been walking around in sweatpants and sweatshirts all week, hence no proper outfit post. But here we go, outfit one of 2012.

Noch zwei Bilder von Berlin, aber dieses Mal von nem Fotoshooting am Warschauer Straße.

Ich liebe dieses Standort und der ganze Ost-Berlin find ich immer so viele Möglichkeiten cooler Fotos zu machen, wegen alle diese urban Orte, die mann finden könnte um Fotos zu machen. Die ganze Stadt Berlins ist einfach wundervoll davon Fotos zu machen. Ich bin schon so viele Male in Berlin aber komme immer nach Hause mit neue Fotos, weil da einfach so viel ist! Ich laufe in Kreuzberg, wo meine Wohnung ist- auf der Straße entlang, und es gibt so viele Kunst und Grafittis und Geschichte. Da ist immer was interessantes und wo man nicht weg gucken könnte. Farben und coole Sprüche.. immer was wertvolles, nie nur Müll.

Die Kunst ist eine der Gründe warum Berlin bestimmt meinem Lieblingsstadt ist. Natürlich außer meine Heimat, London weil da liegt meinem Herz und dort ist wo ich herkomme und wer ich bin. Aber ich konnte definitiv vorstellen in Berlin irgenwann zu wohnen. Diese Gefühl die ich immer kriege, wenn ich da bin. Als ob ich zuhause gekommen bin auch wenn alles noch fremd ist.. Ich liebe Dich, Berlin! ♥

Berlin December 2011.

I'm back from BERLIN, my favourite city, where i spent new years. It felt so good to be back there for five days and there is always so much to see.

On Friday night we were in Felix, right round the corner from the Brandenburg Gate, which we found out is "statistically the best club in Germany", and it was amazing! My friend knew the bouncer, so we got free entry, rather than paying 20€ and we felt like right VIP's :D.

Saturday, it was New Years Eve and we were at the Brandenburg Gate with a crowd of one million people packed onto Unter den Linden. Then a bit of drama afterwards because i realised my bag was gone- my iphone, passport, keys, wallet- everything, and so i was about to faint! Until the guys we were with helped calm me down and phone my phone and luckily i got it all back, although we had to drive around the whole city on the craziest night of the year to pick it up. I was really so lucky there.

Then Sunday night, we were just watching TV and drinking Toblerone cappuccinos and laughing loads reading this book I hope they serve beer in hell and doing New Zealand accents.

Monday did some East-Side photoshooting before i had to get the train back home to Hamburg.

It was an amazing week and end to the year with my best friend in my favourite city, and i'm feeling good about 2012! x
